Dr. Rekha Shetty is an author, an entrepreneur
and an original thinker in Management and the Social Sciences.
She began her career with a brilliant academic
record with two university ranks at Madras University. She has
recently got her PHD degree for her thesis on Innovation in
Indian Companies fom Madras University. She was a member of
the Syndicate of 200 year old Anna University where she introduced
a 40 week optional course on Creativity for budding Engineers.

Heart Attack Path’, she started her career with United India
Insurance Co, and was Vice President of Apollo Hospitals Group.
At present Managing Director of Farstar Distribution Network
Ltd which consults for Blue Chip Companies in India and South
East Asia for CREATIVITY and INNOVATION.
She is the founder of the well known Mindspower Brand. Her 2nd
book is due to be published shortly.
In her very first assignment in United
India Insurance, she developed a nationally acclaimed advertising
campaign. As group Vice President-Marketing of the Apollo Hospitals
group, she pioneered the concept of hospital marketing and health
insurance. During the last fifteen years she has specialized
in the field of Creativity in Management and developed her own

Mindspower. As Managing Director of Farstar, she advises blue
chip companies on the art and science of innovation and creativity.
Positive health for companies and people has always been her
concern. As a member of the Syndicate of the 200 year old, Anna
University, she helped introduce a 40-week programme on innovation
for budding engineers. She is also on the board of studies of
the Psychology Department in the Madras University. She has
